Register for the 2026 Plein Air Event

Steelville Arts Council Plein Air Rules, Policies and Accident Waivers and Release of liability Steelville Arts Council are happy to host our annual Plein Air event. Over the years, we have welcomed artist who have become friends and have welcomed new artists to participate. We are now requiring that the following policies be implemented:

By my signature, I hereby assume all the risks and responsibilities associated with activities of the Steelville Arts Council Plein Air event. ! understand that while participating in the Plein Air event, I may be photographed with or without my art. I give permission for any photograph, video, or other likeness to be used by the Steelville Arts Council. l acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form will be used by the event holders, sponsors, and organizers of this activity in which I may participate or reside during the event and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities of this Plein Air Event. l will always treat event organizers, fellow artists, and host families in a courteous and respectful manner. I realize that I am a guest in the home of a generous art patron, and I will be respectful of my host and family, their home and furnishings in the home, taking care to minimize my impact and make the experience enjoyable for all.

I waive, release and discharge from all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of entities or persons released, for personal injury, property damage or property theft, the following entities or persons:

Steelville Arts Council and/or their officers, site location sponsors, volunteers, and host.
– I indemnify, hold harmless and promise not to sue the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity, whether caused by negligence or release or otherwise.
– I Acknowledge that Steelville Arts Council and their officers, or volunteers, are not responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific activity on their behalf.

By my registration, I certify that I have read and accepted the content and implications of the Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Contract. It shall be construed broadly to provide release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
